SHUTTLE BUSES TO & FROM NYC

Shuttle bus tickets are here. They leave from Nowadays on Thurs + Friday and return there on Sunday. You will check in and get your wristband at the bus stop at Nowadays.

CHECK-IN + PARKING

Each car requires a parking pass. All people arriving by car will check-in at the parking lots where you’ll get your wristbands, then take a shuttle bus to camp.

Check-in hours + locations:
Thurs 3PM-3AM starts in LOT 1 (100-266 S Maplewood Rd), moves to LOT 2 (553 S. Maplewood Rd) after the first lot fills up
Friday 12PM-3AM in LOT 2
Saturday 12PM-7PM in LOT 2 every half hour, 7PM-3AM by calling 319-321-3193 *

Parking Shuttles between camp and parking lots:

Friday 12PM-3AM loop
Saturday 12PM-7PM half-hour loop, 7PM-3AM by calling 319-321-3193 *
Sunday 11AM-6:30PM loop

*: If you are checking in on Saturday from 12-7PM, a shuttle driver will come to LOT 2 every half hour to check you in. There is after hours check-in and parking shuttle on Saturday 7PM-3AM by calling this number: (319) 321-3193.

Important notes:

  • You cannot check-in outside of these hours, so plan accordingly. Anyone who shows up outside of these hours and does not have a wristband will not be allowed into camp.

  • Never drive directly to campus, even to drop off or pick up bags. It blocks the buses and you will be stopped by security.

  • Anyone parked in Lot 1 may walk to/from camp, but those parked in Lot 2 must take the shuttle (see schedule above).

  • Once you’ve checked in and have a wristband, you may come and go at any time.

  • When returning to the parking lot, you can come and go as long as the parking pass is displayed in the car dash, and follow the established parking pattern and be sure not to block other cars in.

  • Be quiet when walking on the roads and respectful of our neighbors.

  • Highway police regularly pull people over and do car searches. Please be safe and don't mention S-R.

STAYING OFF CAMPUS

You can stay off campus, but you will still need a parking pass and must leave your car in the parking lot and take the shuttle bus to and from camp.

PUBLIC BUS:

You can take the Shortline Bus to Monticello, which leaves from Port Authority station. Schedules are here. If you decide to do this, make sure someone can pick you up locally because its a few miles from the venue. Or you can use a local taxi, but call in advance as they are very slow.  845-794-4040.
